Review : Sleek Contour Kit In Medium

Whilst I was looking through my make up collection I rediscovered an old favourite of mine, the Sleek contour kit and i realised I hadn't ever reviewed it.

I have had mine for almost 2 years ( I know !) and although the highlighter has seen better days the contour powder still looked re-viewable so here it is.

 £5.49 superdrug 

I got the shade Medium which contains a warm toned medium brown contour powder, a slightly peach shimmery highlight and a small mirror.

The contour powder :

PRO'S 
- Completely matte 
- Great pigmentation
- Build able colour 

CON'S
- Can look patchy if put onto dewy skin
- Could look orange-y on lighter skin tones

(Blended out on the left and full un-blended swatch on the right )

The Highlighter : 

PRO'S 
- Finely milled
- Slight shimmer instead of unwearable chunky glitter

CON'S 
- Colour too peachy to use as a highlight

Overall i do like this product but i think it could have been so much better.

If you powder your skin before applying the contour powder then it goes on much smoother and has less chance looking patchy, to be honest I would have been much better off buying the light version of this kit so keep in mind that could be what's stopping me from loving this product.

I will continue to use this but I wouldn't buy this again just because i think there are much better matte bronzer available nowadays.
