My Make Up Collection Part 5 - Lip Balms

Hey Everyone,

As part 5 of my make-up collection series i decided to do lip balms. I realise I have a lot of lip balms and probably far too many but that just makes it all the more interesting for you, right ?

Sprite Lip Smacker - Smells like sprite, tastes like sprite, moisturises my lips ... perfect.

Dr Pepper Lip Smacker - Dr Pepper is my all time favourite drink but its very uncommon to find it here in Spain so when i saw this lip balm i had to get it ! it does a good job for the price.

Primark Minty Lip Balm - This was super cheap but it actually works amazingly well at keeping my lips moisturised.

Nivea Pearly shine Lip Balm - This lip balm gives a slight pink tint but doesn't do a very good job at actually making my lips less dry

H&M Shimmer Lip Balm - This one is a really light pink shimmery colour and it works well.

Nivea Pink lip Balm - I've lost the lid to this one but its a really good lip balm so i kept it anyway.

BIOCURA Beauty Lip Balms - These come in a three pack from Lidl and these are a pretty good dupe for nivea milk and honey lip balm.

Lush Snow Fairy lip tint - Snow fairy from lush is one of my favourites scents so i was hoping this would be a great lip product but it kind of sucks to be honest.

Lip Smacker Lip gloss - This smells and tastes like coca cola but other than that it is crap as well.

The Body Shop Lipbalms watermelon/ Mango peach/ Raspberry - These lip balms have a nice taste and smell but they are quite sticky which i hate

I Love ... Raspberry & Blackberry / Blueberry smoothie lip balms - These lip balms have a nice scent but they are very moisturising at all.

Tesco various flavour Lip balms - Much like the other lip balms in this style, they smell nice but don't do what they are made to.

Cymex cream - This is part lip balm, part cream for things like cold sores and cracked lips, it works amazingly well especially in the winter months when the dry air makes my lips even more chapped, cracked and nasty.

So that is an overview of my lip balm collection, yes its excessive but that's who I am ! make-up hoarder extraordinaire  .

Thanks for reading
Holly x

PS : I'm Sorry for the recently lack of posts but i am currently bed ridden with migraines galore and a runny nose that can only be compared to the likes of Niagara falls.

  14. This was such a helpful post! I hate scented beauty products, especially when they don't do what they're designed to do, I just stick to good ol' Blistex and Carmex :)
